Dr. Elizabeth White is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She was raised in Troy, Alabama, and attended Troy University for undergraduate studies. Dr. White completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 with Research Honors. She then graduated from the UAB Periodontics program as Chief Resident with a Certificate in Periodontics. She also received a Certificate in Periodontics from the Birmingham Veteran Affairs Medical Center for her additional training. Dr. White practiced in Nashville, Tennessee until August 2020 when she joined our Auburn Periodontics family.

Desiring to learn, Dr. White pursued research in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Periodontal Disease, where she presented at multiple national dental meetings throughout her dental career. In addition to publishing her research in the Clinical Advances in Periodontology, Dr. White previously had a continuing education course on dentalcare.com to help the dental staff learn more about periodontal disease. Dedicated to helping patients, Dr. White strives to encourage and inform patients about their periodontal care and treatments, including sinus lifts, ridge augmentations, dental implants, soft tissue grafting, extractions, bone grafting, periodontal surgery, and deep cleanings.

Dr. White is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Southern Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and the 9th District Dental Society.

Dr. White is married to Zachary White, who is an Auburn native. They enjoy hiking and kayaking together. They have two dogs, Bentley and Ellie, and a cat named Gabby, and they are excited to call Auburn their home.
